* 1/2 c. chopped onion
* 1 clove garlic
* 2 Tbsp. oil
* 1 c. uncooked white rice
* 2 c. beef broth
* 1 tsp. chili powder
* 1 tsp. cumin
* 1/4 c. tomato sauce
1. Sauté onion and garlic in oil briefly in medium saucepan.
2. Add rice and sauté lightly.
3. Stir in broth, chili powder, cumin, and tomato sauce. Bring to a rapid boil.
4. Reduce heat and simmer covered 25 minutes or until all of the liquid is absorbed.
